About the Department
The world-class faculty of our department give students the opportunity to acquire knowledge and analytical tools in political and economic behavior studies, public policy, administration studies, international relations and strategic studies.
The program is designed with working students, public servants and employees of national security forces in mind. Students who complete this program receive a dual degree: a B.A. in Political Science (taught in English or Hebrew) and a B.A. in a different discipline of their choice (taught in Hebrew). Language classes in Hebrew and Arabic are also available. This program is available to students doing a semester abroad.
YVC and its Department of Political Science invest significant energy and resources in establishing and maintaining ongoing academic dialogues with colleagues outside of Israel. These academic interactions keep professors and students abreast of new developments, expand their horizons of inquiry, and encourage collaborative research and applied projects.
In addition to engaging in dozens of on-going collaborations in the United States and Europe, YVC is a partner in the IRIS project, a European Union initiative aimed at fostering stronger ties between Israeli academic colleges and European academic institutions.
