Podcast: Lost in Translation – Bridging Professional Gaps
This podcast was born on a beautiful hotel at the coast of Crete, during an international course within the IMPACT project (eve-impact | Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange Project IMPACT), in May 2024.
Susan, a teacher in the course, and I started talking at the breakfast table, about where we came from (she is originally from the USA but has been living in Italy for over 20 years), what we enjoy when collaborating with international partners and what challenges we face.
From one breakfast to the next, we discovered we have a lot to say, and realized the things we talked about are universally relevant.
So, since we were eager to keep on talking when we went back home, we decided to embark on a new adventure and to record a podcast.
The podcast explores the cultural and behavioral gaps we may encounter when collaborating with different professions. It focuses on the healthcare system, but links it to other professions and international collaborations as well.
