The College Board of Trustees has a New Chairman

The advertiser Fadul Mazawwey was appointed chairman of the Board of Trustees of Yezreel Valley College to replace retired Judge Theodor Or. Mazawwey was elected chairman at the Board of Trustees meeting that took place on June 14, 2016. Mazawwey, a man of many accomplishments, has served on the College Board of Trustees since 2012. The provost, Professor Aliza Shenhar, welcomed the appointment and said, “We are convinced that Mr. Mazawwey will contribute to the development and prosperity of the college.”

Mazawwey said, “I’ve known the college for a long time. In addition to being a businessman, an advertiser who deals with leading Israeli companies, I am also involved in philanthropy, public work and social projects. In the past I have lectured on advertising and visual communications.” He added, “I bring with me over 20 years of experience in business, advertising, and branding. Though my involvement with the management committee, I had the privilege of meeting people of great stature in many different positions, and we hope that they will continue to lead us towards excellence. I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that Yezreel Valley College will continue to lead in higher education in Northern Israel.”
