CPA Australia – Global Research Perspectives Program – 2019
The Global Research Perspectives Program is CPA Australia's annual research grants program, which encourages and supports research worldwide that is relevant to our membership, the profession and the global business community. The Sponsor is seeking bold and innovative projects that have merit and potential.
CPA Australia is particularly interested in projects which involve collaboration between academic researchers and individuals or organisations outside of the higher education research sector.
We welcome interdisciplinary research opportunities which may extend to researchers outside the traditional accounting disciplines (for example, data scientists, social scientists, historians and IT specialists). That is, research partnerships between researchers in accounting and in other disciplines are of considerable appeal. Partnerships between academe and business are encouraged.
The deadline for GRPP EOI applications is 31 July annually. Applicants will be informed of outcomes within six weeks of the submission deadline.
CPA Australia will consider projects in the following areas:
- Accounting and Finance education
- Reporting, Assurance and Audit issues
- Environmental, Social and Governance
- Ethics and Professional Standards
- Business Issues
- Financial Planning and Wealth Management
