The Hadassah-Brandeis Institute awards grants
The Hadassah-Brandeis Institute awards grants to support research or artistic projects on Jewish women's and gender issues across a range of disciplines. Scholars, activists, writers and artists who are pursuing research on questions of significance to the field of Jewish women's and gender studies, or work that deals with the themes of our work in comparative perspective, may apply. The HBI Research Awards are funded by gifts from the HBI Board.

Diasporic & Transnational Jewish Studies
Gender & Holocaust Studies
Gender, Culture, Religion & the Law
Gender Issues in Jewish Ritual, Participation & Observance
Jewish Feminism & Jews in Feminism
Creative Arts (Including: Research, Performance, Visual, Writing & Film) Projects must deal with gender; projects by and about Jewish artists that do not deal with gender do not meet the criteria.
Senior grants up to $5,000 awarded to established scholars and professionals.
