The John Templeton Foundation
The John Templeton Foundationaims to advance human well-being by supporting research on the Big Questions, and by promoting character development, individual freedom, and free markets. The Foundation takes its vision from its founding benefactor, the late Sir John Templeton, who sought to stimulate what he described as “spiritual progress.”
The Foundation's Funding Areas include Science & the Big Questions, Character Virtue Development ,Individual Freedom and Free Markets , Exceptional Cognitive Talent and Genius, Genetics, and Voluntary Family Planning.

The foundation invites an applicant to submit a project idea to the following grant mechanisms:
